THURSDAYS
The Book of Job. 10:30am – Noon; February 18, 25, and March 4th

These talks look at one of the greatest pieces of literature of all time as well as a profound and inspired inquiry into the question of "why bad things happen to good people." Read the book as we journey with the innocent Job as he comes to terms with God's will and the mystery of suffering that it reveals.
Introduction to the Old Testament. 10:30am – Noon; May 13, 20 and 27th

This series of talks is intended as an introduction for those who would like to know more about the Old Testament to help them to understand and read it. Surveys the various books of the Old Testament within their historical, social and cultural context as well as their various literary styles. Presents the journey of God’s chosen people through the lens of salvation history to its fulfillment in Jesus Christ.
I Have a Question...? 10:30am – Noon; June 3, 10, and 17

This series of shared discussions deals with questions from participants. So often people say " I have all kinds of questions about my faith but I don't know anybody to ask." Now is your time! Bring your questions and we will write them down or just volunteer them. Fr. Fred will do his best to respond! There is no such thing as a stupid question. If you want an answer, it is not stupid. We will go wherever the discussion leads.
SPECIAL EVENTS
A Morning with The Gospel of Life. 8:00 - 11:00am; Thursday, January 21st

In anticipation of the Day of Prayer for the Legal Protection of Unborn Life on January 22nd, this morning event on the day prior begins with 8:00am Mass followed by Adoration with Rosary for Life. After continental breakfast, listen to two talks centered on Pope St. John Paul II’s Evangelium Vitae and the current work of the DOV Respect Life office.
